Wow, I totally forgot about this thing, and I'm guessing I will again. Sorry, I'm obsessed with facebook now and plus I don't know if anyone is still even a member of xanga. so life is incredible, college is great, and I love being involved with lead-in and Depaul Dems. Becky and my dad are coming tomorrow and I'm totally pumped! And yeah, that's the short version of my life. Call and we can talk more extensively because I'm sure I would love to hear from you, though I don't know who still uses xanga.

Hey Everybody! How's life going for all of you college students?? I hope you're have a wonderful time. Here in GR life is hectic, but I can't wait to get out of dodge. I think having all of my friends leave before me just makes me that much more ready to go. So 9 days and 1 hour left!

Pentwater was amazing. We had perfect weather and I had a great time hanging out with the girls. One day the waves were huge so Jill and I played for like 2 hours. It was crazy sweet.

I'm done working, but I'm actually kind of missing it a little. I'm ready to start doing something slightly more productive than sleeping until noon. Last night I went to a peace meeting at Wealthy Theater. A global cease fire is being called on September 21st so please go to www.peaceoneday.org and read the information. Never in the history of man kind has there been a global cease fire...IN THE HISTORY OF MAN KIND...that's a long time. And even if it it doesn't work for another hundred years, getting all of the countries talking to one another and participating is a step in the right direction. If only one life were saved, the program would still be a success. Jeremy (the leader of the movement) is an amazing and inspirational guy who showed me that, yes, one person can make a dramatic difference in the world. I'm really passionate about this so I hope you will go and read this and take part in education people on this day and what it could mean to the world. If this global cease fire actually did work, do you really how much supplies (food, medicine, resources) could get to war zones so as parts of Africa, the Middle East, and any other country in need? People could actually fly the supplies to the destination without fear of being killed. Just think about it...That's the end of my peace rant for now.

Today I went to the beach with my mother. It was slightly better than I thought it would be, but still a little torturous...and quite awkward. We have very little to talk about for hours and hours. A few odd silences occurred. On the upside she bought me stuff that I needed for college. On the bad side she didn't pay me for gas to drive all the way to G. Haven.

And I think that's about all for the night

Talk to you later and take it easy.

Cheers,

Love, Me

Laid back and friendly, you were meant to live most of your life on the beach.<br />

Hmmm. Not very surprising! I kind of already new that I belonged in CA and San Diego is the best city there...not to mention the fact that they have Konos, right Nat?

Have a good weekend!

Hey! So summer is winding down. Everyone is getting their college supplies and I have friends leaving as soon as next week. It's crazy. I am stuck here until September 2nd, but I have so much to do that is probably a good thing. I have to get my house ready for a move to somewhere and to college and get ready for a garage sale. But hey, no complaints!

Last week I went to the beach three times and that is pretty sweet. I went with my dad and Nick on Friday and we had a family jumping off the pier party and it was fun. It was my dad and my first times doing it. My dad was freaked, and it was amusing. Then on Saturday I with my friend Liz and we had fun, except that the bugs were really bad and they kept attacking her (but not me-sorry Liz!) and it was a little overcast. Then we went back to her apartment and watched Wedding Crashers and hung out for a while. Then Sunday I slept the day away. My dad woke me at 12:30 and I cleaned until my asthma/allergies got really bad and then I had dinner with my bro and Val...it was loads of fun (*very very sarcastic*) though she didn't yell at me at all...she's just disappointed in me...oh well. And then I met NT, Katie K, and Allyson at Schulers and then they came to my house for a bit.

And today I worked a lot longer than I planned on because Lillie was really sick and didn't go to Woodcliff, and then tomorrow I work, have therapy, and they I go back to Lillie's for a going away dinner, and then wednesday I work again. Then Friday I'm babysitting Lillie for the last time (at least for a while) and it's an all night thing, and then I'll finish with Lillie at like 4:30 on Saturday and go babysitting for Zoey for like five more hours! Then Sunday I'm out to Pentwater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love to all and I will talk to you all soon.

Hi! So the last few days have been fun for the most part, but kind of stressful/worryful. My grandpa has been in the hospital the last 3 days and then today he had a stent put into his artery because it was completely blocked apparently. I think he's doing fine, though his condition changes depending on who I speaking to. And then also my life has been crazy trying to figure out what's going on with my dad's new job and wherever he's moving now. It's really pretty crazy because we have no idea where he's going to end up so when I come "home" for Thanksgiving, I don't even know which state I'm coming to. And of course my mom is being psycho and crazy, though that's nothing new. She's trying to get me to come eat at her house even though I'm allergic to it (because she smokes and has a cat). And she's not taking no for an answer very well. Whatever it's not a big deal...

Anyway, yesterday I went to Starbucks with Elena, Jill, and NT. And afterwards we washed our cars in order to escape the heat. Then I went to the allergist and got taken OFF one of my meds! My breathing is currently "normal" for someone who doesn't have breathing problems!!! So that's really good news considering a few months ago I couldn't even go upstairs in my school.

Then today NT, Lauren and I went to Grand Haven. It was really fun, but we couldn't go swimming because the rip currents and the waves were crazy big. But we had fun eating (way to much) and walking around. I enjoyed my Butch's.

And now I have to go to work in less than 9 hours so I'm going to sleep. Good night and give me a call so we connect before you and I leave for school!!!

Love, Me
